Due Dates:
Monday May 11, 2015: SLO testing around 11:00 am, right after opening Olympic ceremonies. Please go over your study guide and know it well. I will be using the SLO exam as a final exam grade for this course. Friday, May 15 is the due date for all other tasks for this class. This includes being reviewed by me and posted to your VA Comp I blog: 1. Common Assessment #3 - Mash Up studio production piece. This assessment also requires the artist statement that explains your mash-up idea (what did you mash-up, and what were the conceptual results. In addition, you should include the way in which you used the elements and principles of art. "Thin" writing that makes simple statements without supporting explanations or evidence (examples) from the work will not be accepted. I would like to see these before they are loaded onto your blog. 2. Common Assessment #4 - Aesthetic Response. This is a creative writing piece that should fit into a 5X7 format. Remember that you can use a QR code. 3. Sketchbook Log: Remember that is one hour of outside work for each week. That is 36 hours. Any homework you did for this class, sketchbook work, altered book work, etc. Remember to have your parent's signature on the form. The original form/copies I provided for you should be what is used. I will make additional copies available on Monday if you need them. Your common assessments will be graded according to the county rubric. See the attached below. Remember that posting is part of the due date and the way in which you obtain high school credit. If you have any questions, or need assistance please let me know!
